Keys
Keep track of which keys you have, what they belong to and who you've lent them to.
With keys, you keep track of which keys you have, which unit or installation they belong to and who you've lent them to. That way, you never lose keys again.

How does it work?
Your keys hang on a digital key board. Each key has a unique number that matches its spot on your physical key board. A key board is already set up for you by default. Do you have keys at multiple locations, for example at two offices? Then create an extra key board.
You link a key to units or installations. That way, you see from each unit or installation which keys belong to it.
Tip: Work with numbered keys instead of address labels. If a key gets lost, the finder won't know which address it belongs to. Read How to organize keys.
Adding a key
- In the menu, go to Properties > Keys.
- Click New.
- Fill in the details (see the table).
- Click Create.
| Field | What do you enter? |
|---|---|
| Number | The key's unique number, matching its spot on your key board. |
| Type | For example master key or tag. Useful when searching. |
| Description | A short description, such as “green door”. |
| Key board | The board the key hangs on. |
| Connections | What the key is for, such as a unit or installation. |
| Responsible | The team member responsible for the key. |
On the key's detail page, you see the details on the left, the connections on the right, and in the middle you can add tasks and notes.
Lending out a key
You record who you lend a key to and the latest date by which it must be returned. You also see that date in the calendar. Read How do I lend out a key?.
