Key management
The key feature of OWNER organizes physical keys with a digital key board. This way, you quickly know where a key is and who has it. Moreover, it can be linked to your units or installations.
What is it?
Within OWNER's key module, you store keys, quickly retrieve them, and see who has borrowed them. The keys are organized by numbering them. You receive a notification if a key is returned late.
Why do I need it?
Many managers struggle with their key management. It often happens that a key is lost or it is unclear to whom a key has been lent. With the key module, these problems are a thing of the past. Additionally, keys no longer require address labels, so there is no risk of break-ins if lost.
How does it work?
The key module has a digital key board where numbered keys hang for easy retrieval. You can hang multiple keys on one board or create additional boards for different locations, such as at two offices.

In OWNER, you can manage your keys efficiently. Easily link them to units or installations. This way, you immediately see from any unit or installation which keys are available. Want an overview of all your keys? Go to the digital key board. Here, at a glance, you can see which keys you have and their status.
Getting started is simple. A key board is already set up for you in OWNER by default. To add a key, go to the "Keys" section under the menu item "Real Estate" and click on "New".
When adding a key, you enter a few details:
Number: Every key has a unique number. Type: Specify the type, such as a master key or tag. Tags help you search later on. Description: A brief description, such as 'third door on the left' or 'green door'. Key Board: Choose the board you want to hang the key on. Link to: Specify what the key is for, like a specific apartment or technical installation. Responsible: Assign a team member who is responsible for the key. This person also receives notifications if the key is returned late.
After filling in, click on "Create", and voilà, your key has been added! On the key overview page, you will find all the details. On the left are the entered details, on the right the links, and in the middle, you can add tasks and notes to the key. This keeps everything clear and organized.
Tip! To lend a key in OWNER, find the key, click on "Actions" (the three dots at the top left), and select "Lend key". Upon return, simply choose "Return key". This keeps your key management efficient.
