Tasks

With the OWNER task feature, you can create tasks with priority, due dates, and recurrences, and link them to relevant items, such as rental agreements.

What is it?

With OWNER's task feature, you'll never forget anything again. You can create tasks with a priority, so you know which tasks to tackle first. Each task can have its own due date and time, allowing us to remind you via push notifications and emails about a past due task. If a task needs to be repeated periodically, you can create recurring tasks.

By linking a task to the related item, such as a rental agreement, you'll also see the task listed under that rental agreement. This means you can view your tasks either from the task feature itself or from the item to which the task is linked.

Why do you need it?

Managing real estate comes with many responsibilities and there are numerous issues to address. By documenting your tasks in OWNER, you create peace of mind and an overview of the tasks you still need to complete, ensuring you forget nothing.

How does it work?

In the top right corner of the screen, you'll see an icon with 3 lines; this is the task function. When you click on it and then click on "New" in the top right, you can start creating your first task.

You'll be prompted to name your task. Provide a recognizable name so you can easily identify the task. Task type is not mandatory but allows you to differentiate between tasks. The task's priority gives you additional guidance on which task to tackle first.

To remind you of tasks that need to be performed, we ask for the due date and time when creating each task.

Sometimes you might want a task to be repeated periodically; for this, you can use the "Recurring" option. By enabling this option, you determine how frequently this task should recur. If you want to be reminded before the task's end date, choose the desired period under "Reminder".

Lastly, there is a "Note" field. Provide an additional description of the task here to clarify its specifics.
