How do I set a minimum or maximum indexation percentage?
Set a minimum or maximum indexation percentage in the rental contract.
Does the rental contract say the rent increases by at least or at most a certain percentage? You set that up once in the rental contract.
How to set it up
- Open the rental contract via Contracts > Rental contracts.
- Click the pencil icon to edit the rental contract.
- Under Indexation, fill in the Minimum and/or Maximum.
- Save the rental contract.
OWNER takes this into account from the next indexation onward: if the result is lower than the minimum or higher than the maximum, the minimum or maximum is used.
Good to know
- A minimum or maximum stays in effect until you change it, so check it every year.
