# Values

## Record the value of each unit, such as the market value or appraised value.

With values, you record what a unit is worth, for example the market value or appraised value. Because you can record multiple values per unit, you see how the value develops.

## What can you do with them?

- Record multiple values per unit and track how they develop.
- Have the data at hand for reports and financing.
- Back up your rent prices and your strategy.

## Adding a value

1. Go to **Properties \> Values** and click **New**, or open the unit.
2. Choose the unit, the type of value and the date.
3. Enter the amount and save.

## Good to know

- You record values per unit, not per project.
- Does a property consist of multiple rooms that are each a unit? Give each room its own value. Together, they make up the value of the property.
- The type is meant for values such as market value or appraised value. A sale price is not a type of value.
