# How do you search for properties on OWNER?
## Searching, filtering, responding or booking, and tips so you don't miss anything.
On OWNER, you'll find homes and commercial spaces from owners and property managers. Here's how to search smartly and respond to listings.

## How to search
1. Go to [owner.app](https://owner.app?hsLang=en) or open the OWNER app.
2. Search by location and property type.
3. Refine with filters, such as facilities.
4. Open a placement for photos, a description and availability.
## Responding or booking
- **Renting for a longer period:** respond via the contact form on the placement. The landlord will contact you; you make arrangements with them.
- **Staying for a short period:** choose an available period in the booking calendar and book directly.

## Tips for searching smartly
- Save interesting properties as favorites.

- Follow landlords whose listings interest you.
- Is there a property that isn't available yet? Request a notification for when it becomes available.
