# How do I set up automatic reminders for orders, inspections and signatures?
## Let OWNER send reminders automatically when a service provider, inspector or signer doesn’t respond on time.
Is a service provider, inspector or signer not responding on time? OWNER can send a reminder automatically. You set this up per module.

## Where do you set it up?
| Module | Settings | Who gets the reminder |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Orders | **Settings \> Modules \> Maintenance \> Orders** | The service provider, when the response or execution date has passed. |
| Inspections | **Settings \> Modules \> Maintenance \> Inspections** | The inspector, when the response deadline has passed. |
| Signatures | **Settings \> Modules \> Files \> Documents** | Signers who haven’t signed yet. |

## Setting up reminders
### Step 1 – Open the General tab
1. Go to the module’s settings (see the table above) and open the **General** tab.
### Step 2 – Turn on reminders
1. Turn on **Automatic reminders?**.
2. Under **Send reminder every**, enter the number of days between two reminders.
3. Under **Total number of reminders**, enter the maximum number of reminders OWNER sends.
4. Save.
Automatic reminders? (1), Send reminder every (2) and Total number of reminders (3).
**Note:** turning this on or off only applies to new orders, inspections and signing requests. Existing ones keep their own setting.
## Turning it on or off per order
Open an order and under **Actions**, choose **Enable automatic reminder** or **Disable automatic reminder**. On the order, you see under **Reminders** whether reminders are on. Want to send a reminder right away? Choose **Send reminder**.

## Frequently asked questions
#### What does the reminder to a service provider say?
That the response deadline or execution date has passed, with a request to still respond or report the order as done.
#### Does OWNER stop sending reminders on its own?
Yes. OWNER stops after the set total number of reminders, or as soon as the service provider, inspector or signer has responded.
