# How do I manually send a reminder for an overdue sales invoice?

## Send a reminder to the tenant directly from the sales invoice.

Has a tenant not paid a sales invoice yet and do you want to send a reminder right away? You do that from the sales invoice itself.

## How to send a reminder

1. Go to **Financial** \> **Sales invoices** \> **Overdue** and open the sales invoice.
2. Click **Actions** and choose **Send reminder**.
3. Choose to send it by email.

The reminder goes to the recipient of the sales invoice, in the language set for that person.

## Is the sending method set to do not send?

Then OWNER doesn't send automatic reminders for that sales invoice either. You can still send a reminder manually, using the steps above.

Want tenants to be reminded automatically? Make sure the sending method isn't set to do not send and that automatic reminders are turned on. See [How do I turn automatic reminders on or off?](https://knowledge.owner.app/en/automatic-reminders-per-tenant-or-invoice?hsLang=en)

**Note:** OWNER has a first, second and third reminder. Formal demand letters and debt collection are not part of OWNER.
