How do I link a person to a company?

Link them to each other from the person or from the company.

You link a person to a company from the person or from the company. After that, you know who belongs to which company.

How to link a person to a company

  1. Open the person via Contacts > Persons.
  2. On the right, under Companies, click the link icon.
  3. Search for the company and click Connect.

You can also do this the other way around: open the company and link the person on the right under Persons.

Why link them?

  • You immediately see which persons belong to which company.
  • In many places in OWNER, such as on a rental contract with this company, the linked persons appear at the top of the selection list.

Tip: Does the company have a domain and is Automatically link persons to companies turned on? Then OWNER automatically links persons with an email address on that domain. Read What is the difference between Domain and Website for a company?.
