# Energy labels

## Register each unit's energy label with its issue and expiry date.

You register an energy label per unit. That way, you always see which label a unit has and how long it's still valid.

## What can you do with them?

- Record the issue date, the expiry date and the certificate for each label.
- Register multiple labels per unit and track how the energy performance develops.
- Show the energy label in the rent list, so you can see which units don't have a label yet.

## Adding an energy label

1. Go to **Properties \> Energy labels** and click **New**, or open the unit.
2. Choose the unit and enter the label and the dates.
3. Add the certificate and save.

**Note:** the label only appears in the rent list if it has a start and end date.
