# How do I run a client environment's subscription through me as the property manager?
## Let a connected real estate environment use the credits of your manager environment.
By default, the owner of a real estate environment pays for the credits themselves. As a property manager, you can choose to have a connected real estate environment use the credits of your manager environment.
## Setting up a subscription through the property manager
1. In your manager environment, go to **Settings** and open the overview of your connected environments.
2. Click the three dots next to your client's environment.
3. Choose **Subscription via manager**.
From that moment on, that real estate environment uses the credits of your manager environment and the environment is activated immediately. The transaction fees of that environment then also run through you.
**Tip:** would you rather have the owner pay? Then you don't need to do anything: that's the default setting.
## Property manager credits
- Credits you buy as a property manager are used for all real estate environments that run through you. That is usually cheaper than separate packages per environment.
- You buy credits under **Settings \> Environment settings \> Subscription** in your manager environment. Read [How do the subscription and credits work?](https://knowledge.owner.app/en/subscription-and-credits?hsLang=en).
- You can't move credits from one environment to another yourself, for example because an owner has sold a building. Send support a message with the environments and the number of credits.
